Distribution of Funds

Each year after operating expenses, money is distributed to the state, local government, law enforcement, and alcohol education initiatives.  Jackson County and the Town of Sylva share 7% for alcohol education and rehabilitation and law enforcement receives 5%.  $400,000 is distributed to Jackson County and the Town of Sylva with 60% going to the County and 40% going to the Town.  The remaining net profit is used for future operating expenses.
